With this series premiere, I am joined by my good friend Emanuela Messineo, a Denver based personal coach, and woman in her early 40’s who opens up about her earlier struggles with being a chronic people pleaser and the work she has done to build awareness around it and take back control. We also dive into discussions about: middle-aged dating, the “rules” of modern relationships, oversharing as a relationship building technique, how therapy has empowered us to set boundaries and gain awareness, the difference between our single unencumbered lives and that of our married peers raising children, and then end with some thoughtful advice for our 25-year-old selves.
