Who were you, before you were told who you should be? I’ve seen this quote a few times and its always made me pause and reflect. Last night I watched the Netflix original film Nappily Ever After starring Sanaa Lathan and this quote was basically the theme. So on this Self-Care Sunday I ask you, who were you, before you were told who you should be? Can you even remember? For some of us, its been so long since we have asked this question or given it any thought that we may not know where to begin.
