I loved this conversation with my straight-talking friend Tasha Haynes about what the Hustle does to us and what self-care can look like. We recorded this conversation before Covid-19 and before the death of George Floyd, hence why those important topics are missing from our conversation and why you might cringe when you hear Tash cough a few times.
I decided to release this podcast because it is important to talk about self-care, maybe even especially now.
Like many of you right now, I am trying to listen and learn from Black voices. I want to use whatever platform I can to amplify Black voices in my community and I hope to have more conversations about race in the future.
In this conversation Tash and I explore the issue of that oh, so popular idea of SELF-CARE and why it is, why it's hard, and why it's not selfish.
