Today we talk to Nathan Merz out in Seattle. Nathan is a "car guru" who turned his passion for automobiles into an amazingly successful and, frankly, cool career. From a very young age Nathan was captivated by cars, so much so that he convinced his parents to let him buy his first car at age 13. He quickly discovered that he could flip those cars for profit and became a successful entrepreneur as a teenager, owning and selling around 50 cars before he even had a license! After taking a detour into the traditional corporate world after college, Nathan took a leap of faith to pursue his passion and started a luxury car business. Over the last two decades he has built a thriving career, with a specific focus on Porsches. He buys and sell Porsches, manages fleets of vehicles for ultra wealthy individuals, and is even sought after for public speaking engagements for his knowledge on the industry. This is an amazing story of entrepreneurship, passion, and having the courage to take the nontraditional path.
