It is no surprise that Jesus prayed for unity among those who follow him. He knew that division would arise among believers, with thousands of denominations and splintered beliefs between what modern society deems acceptable and what the word of God teaches. As Christians, it is our duty to demonstrate to the world that God sent Jesus to set us free from the bonds of sin, to give us a new life, and to save our souls for eternity. To do this, we must strive for the unity that we all share in Christ, putting aside the small and petty differences that man has created. Let us come together to reveal the truth of God's love to the world
