Birthed from a fusion of Frisco swagger, Arkansas's ancestral roots, and the enduring spirit of Yoruba culture, Artelia Green stands as a nexus toward critical thought and transformative action. The group stitches together the soulful strains of funk, soul, gospel and djembe, creating an immersive soundscape that transports listeners to another time and space. They narrate a timeless tale of love, healing, and transcendence. Artelia Green's latest album, "In No Particular Order," is a masterpiece that exemplifies their essence. The titular track "INPO" hails the legacy of hip-hop, while songs like "Harriet's Brim" explore the depths of oft overlooked history, and “Ghetto Children Funk" pays homage to the indomitable spirit of youth from the hood. With tracks like "Sugarman," they offer a discerning look at the music industry, and with songs like "Intuition" and "Yarrow Fades," they traverse the intricate landscapes of love, loss, and healing.
