Jamie Lidell is a man of many talents. When he isn’t singing like a total soul bad ass he is manipulating sound like a mad scientist or interviewing people like Mark Ronson or Dave Stewart. His podcast ‘Hanging Out With Audiophiles’ is a behind the scenes look into the sonic world of some of the biggest producers and engineers but also as an artist himself Jamie has made brilliant records and can throw down like the best of ‘em! We sat down to discuss plucking song titles out of the desire pool, squinting your ears, pushing your mind to the outer limits and trying to create moments while performing live that would make Sun Ra nod his head in approval.
