Family and Community Engagement in Education
Manage episode 442031633 series 3585979
Welcome back to the Teaching with Valor Podcast. I’m your host, Don Fessenden, and today we’re diving deep into one of the most vital aspects of education that often doesn’t get the attention it deserves—family and community engagement.
Teaching isn’t just about what happens inside the four walls of a classroom. The connections between families, schools, and the broader community create the foundation upon which student success is built.
When families are engaged, when the community is involved, students feel supported, and that network of encouragement and resources leads to better academic performance, emotional well-being, and stronger relationships with their peers and teachers.
