Shufa began as a simple student of magic in his homeland but one night while studying he discovered a book of forbidden magics. The book itself promised him great power if he could ever unlock it, and has taught him a few of it's secrets. He fled with it to the north and joined up with his current group which base themselves out of a cider factory they freed and got working again. The ruler and mages of his homelands are currently seeking him out for return of the book and to have him punished for the theft.
