My guest is Nicole Smith, the founder of Dignity Defense Institute, a nonprofit organization that is committed to upholding the inherent dignity of every human life. For over a decade, Nicole worked on the communications side of human rights all over the world for a faith-based constitutional law firm. With a master’s degree in law and public policy and a sincere desire to bring about change, Nicole joined the fight for the child bride in Uganda and the persecuted religious minority in Iran among many others. Nicole shares about the difficult birth of her second daughter during Covid and the struggles and triumphs her family has had since her daughter was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. She has since established the Dignity Defense Institute and created 3 Centers in it – Center for the Disabled, Center for the Dignity of the Enslaved, and Center for the Dignity of the Unborn. The Institute provides an important bridge for support for those who face these challenges.
