Rick Ornelas is a best-selling author, professional coach, and the founder of the growing community “I Spark Change”. What was the pivotal time in Rick’s life? One night, he was driving home with his wife and children. It was raining. Suddenly, he lost control of the car. It spun across lanes of traffic, eventually flipping over and landing back on its wheels. Surprisingly, no one was hurt. It was such traumatic, near-death accident that it inevitably changed Rick’s life. Fast forward to 2020, when during the pandemic, Rick started to feel hopeless. He went through a spiritual awakening and decided he was going to devote himself to helping others. He established the community “I Spark Change” to spread positivity, hope, and love, and coaches others, especially business leaders, to spearhead change. During this time, he also wrote his best-selling book titled 12 Hours of Heaven – Lessons for a Better World – it is a fictional story and very inspirational.
