In the sermon this past Sunday, we looked at the second part of God’s re-creation work in our lives. Last week, our focus was on the work that God has done to restore everything that was lost in the Fall. Our focus this week is on how our efforts fit into the amazing work that God is doing in us. Fueled by the love of Christ, we are compelled to put our old selves to death and walk in the new life that we have in Him. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, we have been set free to pursue holiness and righteousness; fueled and anchored in the grace of Jesus and the victory He has already won on our behalf.
