Using a patented, game-changing helmet design that folds flat and retains its safety integrity, she won several business competitions and secured funding to develop her invention. In addition to receiving Forbes Magazine’s 30 Under 30 award in Manufacturing and Industry, Rachel was named one of the nine innovators of the year by Smithsonian Magazine, young entrepreneur of the year by Drexel University, and Kova as one of the top 10 hottest Philadelphia emerging ventures. Rachel was also on Drexel University’s annual 2018 top 40 Under 40 leaders list.
