All the lists are up, the fighting has finally ended and all the blood has been mopped up. What does that REALLY mean? That it’s time to squish all the guys’ lists together into one big ‘ole master Top 10 Heavy Albums of 2023! Needless to say, as David J is at the center of the universe and everything revolves around him, he believes that all of his choices for album of the year are the right ones. (Spoiler alert: they’re not.) When they’re not trying to escape David’s gravity, John and Derek are simply trying to keep up.
The fact is this: There was a ton of great music released in 2023. The STR guys put their individual lists of their top albums together over the past few weeks. (Something to remember is that all of the lists were compiled based on the albums that got reviewed, so there’s a TON of music that didn’t make the Top 10 lists not because they’re not worthy, but only because they didn’t get reviewed by the Shit Talk buffoons.
