We’ve finally made it to the fourth quarter of the year. You may be focusing more on celebrating the holidays and spending time with your family, but you should also take this opportunity to get your real estate business ready for the first quarter of 2025.

With only two months left, we’re going to share how to prepare your real estate business for the new year. Join us in this episode to lay the groundwork for a successful leap into 2025.

Stay Motivated

  • Yes, it’s important to let your hair down a bit and enjoy time with your family during this time. It may even cause you to slack off a bit with your work, but you have to stay motivated!
  • Try setting goals for yourself to help you stay on task and get things done. This will help you feel accomplished and ensure that you go into the new year strong.
  • Ashlee and I share different ways you can set realistic goals based on what you’ve already done throughout the year.
  • Oh, one more thing! Your goals don’t always have to be about closing deals.

Lead Generation

  • Marketing is a big part of running a real estate business, so consider setting it as a goal for the fourth quarter.
  • Also, keep in mind that lead generation doesn’t always involve cold calling. You can reconnect with your warm leads and see if they’re interested in doing business.
  • Another great idea is sending holiday cards to your warm leads. This is a good way to reconnect and see how they’re doing. It’s also an excellent opportunity to ask for referrals.

The Power of Marketing Automation

  • When it comes to marketing, there are many tasks involved, so it’s easy to fall behind during this time of year. This is where your CRM system comes in handy. Take the time to tighten it up before 2025 to see long-term benefits. You can do this by keeping all your clients’ information in one place and updating your interactions with them.
  • Another thing to focus on is social media posting. Try to tie all your posts to the holiday season. For example, you can provide tips about buying a house around Christmas time.

Improving the Customer Experience

  • You want to get a 5-star rating from your clients, but what can you do to achieve that?
  • Take Ashlee’s advice and create a group chat with yourself, your administrator, and the client. This way, you and your client can stay on the same page throughout the home-buying process. If you can’t answer a client’s question, your administrator can step in.
  • Tiffany suggests creating packages that list out the steps you’ll take to improve the client’s experience. For example, you can create one package that outlines how you’ll help a seller or buyer and the steps involved.

“Don’t feel like you’re being too salesy when asking for business because if you don’t ask for it, it’s going to go somewhere else. They’re going to use somebody, somewhere." - Ashlee Jankovich.

"You really have to make sure that you remember to ask for the referral in all of this." - Tiffany Klusacek.
