Navigating the Holidays: SOBER
Hosted by: Melissa Paige
We are already approaching the holiday season! I woke up thinking a couple things today. First, I can’t believe we are in the holiday season. Secondly, I have a cold but I’m not hungover. Rewind to 2010, every day that ended in “y,” minus Monday’s sometimes, I woke up hungover.
Now, I’m sober and I don’t wake up that way anymore but sometimes the holidays are still hard. And they’re hard for a lot of us. Especially for those of us in recovery, those who are sober, or those who are newly sober. This is a reminder to be gentle to yourself.
“Don’t feel like you have to do things to make others happy.”
