That is a guarantee! 2 Tim 3:12 confirms this truth!
Recent studies show that one in every seven Christians will face high levels of persecution for their faith.
How do we respond to persecution?
The Word of God teaches us that the love of Christ is unfailing and it transcends persecution!
The next extreme circumstance we cover in this lesson is famine. In real time, we see war torn countries to the North and Middle East where civilians are destitute and deprived of food. We see food insecurity in our nation at unprecedented levels.
Where is the love of Christ during these extreme times of suffering when entire nations of people are hungry?
We then cover two more intense circumstances, nakedness and peril.
Are we safe in Christ’s keeping during these dangerous, difficult, and terrorizing times?
During this episode, the Lord gives us comfort and sweet assurance in the Word of God, that nothing will break His grip on us or take us out of His hand! We are kept by Christ’s love!
We end this lesson with practical applications that will keep us focused on biblical truth and strengthen the bond of love that exists between the Lord and us!
