How often do you connect your body and your emotions?

In this episode, I had the pleasure of interviewing Daria Drake, a somatic healing practitioner who has a strong background in yoga and traditional Chinese medicine. Throughout our conversation, Daria emphasizes the significance of establishing a deep connection with our bodies and emotions in order to achieve overall health and well-being. She firmly believes in the inherent healing power that resides within our bodies and encourages listeners to actively engage with their bodies to address the underlying causes of their issues. Throughout the episode, we dive into:

  • Daria Drake's journey with yoga and somatic healing
  • The importance of connecting with one's body and emotions for overall health and well-being
  • The belief in the innate ability of our bodies to heal themselves
  • The impact of our plugged-in culture and reliance on external systems on our natural healing process
  • Self-care practices you can try today for emotional well-being, such as yoga nidra and breathwork.

Could it be time to drop the band-aids and address the root causes of our problems? Let's challenge the perspective that quick fixes and external systems are the only solutions. Our bodies have innate healing powers waiting to be recognized and trusted.

I really hope to connect with you personally, so please send me a message or join me in my Facebook group. In the meantime, enjoy the show!

About Daria Drake:

Daria is a somatic healing practitioner with roots in yoga and traditional Chinese medicine. She began her entrepreneurial journey with an eco-life brand, and transitioned her business in the wake of the pandemic as she began to embody the change that was being asked of her.
