Our respected teacher, Dr. Syed ibn Iqbal, put our minds to the test at this year’s Canadian Dawah Conference (CDC) in his talk: “Think Different.”
He walked us through a specific scenario to assess our responses and see what level of thinking we have to allow us to compare it with the Sahaba (ra). How well did you do?
During his talk, he highlighted key lessons from the lives of the Sahaba (ra) and discussed the special ingredients/perspectives that allowed them to accomplish the things they did and showed us the directions we need to grow in to be able to get closer to them and the example they have set for us.
