We're treated to the original endgame, with all the hallmarks of a modern blockbuster – a huge battle that brings together all the key players, a girl power sequence, lesser than characters getting their moment in the sun, friendships being tested, treachery, the main hero overcoming his biggest test and the big baddie being defeated.
