Carolina Hurricanes

• Don Waddell resigned as president and general manager on May 24, 2024.
• Eric Tulsky was promoted from assistant GM to general manager on June 18, 2024.

Columbus Blue Jackets

• have $25MM in cap space
• The Blue Jackets are seeking forward depth and a goalie under new GM Don Waddell.
• They have the 4th overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft.

New Jersey Devils

• The Devils have a top-10 selection in the draft for the sixth time in eight years.

New York Islanders

• Patrick Roy replaced Lane Lambert as head coach on January 20, 2024.
• The Islanders acquired the 20th overall pick and two second-round picks from the Chicago Blackhawks.

New York Rangers

• The Rangers acquired Reilly Smith.
