Lindsay and Alana are the creative forces behind the Say Hello Threads, a venture born from their experience as parents to Brayden, a son with significant intellectual disabilities.
Their perspective on the inspiration behind Say Hello Threads is shaped by their first-hand experiences and observations of how their son was often overlooked and disengaged in public settings. This led them to the idea of raising awareness and promoting inclusivity through a clothing line.
The name "say hello threads" was inspired by a quote emphasizing the importance of acknowledging and interacting with people who may appear different, with the business's ultimate goal being to inspire meaningful conversations, encourage advocacy and build a supportive community where everyone feels accepted and valued.
Through strategic partnerships, events, and prioritizing face-to-face interactions, they aspire to foster a more inclusive society by promoting a sense of unity and understanding.
