This is it Toasters and Mosher! The first official formatted installment of the R&S podcast. I am beyond excited to be sharing this with you all. When I had started planning out the podcast, I know from the get go that The Black Dahlia Murder would be the first band I cover. They were the ones that really grabbed me and brought me into the world of death metal and overall more extreme music. I owe a lot to this band and have a lot of memories of/with this band.
More recently, the news broke back in May that the late singer, Trevor Strnad, had passed away (from what is assumed/expected to be a suicide...). Still a devastating blow, it is only a couple months after the fact and it does not feel like this will ever be real.
I had wrote the script for this episode only a week before Trevor passed, which made recording a bit more emotionally challenging than expected. But nonetheless, I am here to present you all with this weeks podcast and I hope you all learn a little something new or even find a new band for you to enjoy. Stay toasty my friends!
