"Who do I need to be to effect the adaptive changes I want to see." -Dr. Seefeld

Dr. Seefeld is the Medical Director, Emergency, Department, at Speare Memorial Hospital in New Hampshire. He is uniquely qualified as leader in the addiction field considering his own personal experience battling addiction.

WOW! One of the most powerful and value-added podcast episodes we've ever done. Whether you're sober-curios, struggling with addiction. thriving in recovery, or a parent of a child with an unhealthy relationship with social media and their cell phone, this episode is for you.

We break-down the difference between thought addictions, emotional addictions, and behavior addictions. And the impact ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) has on our addictive thoughts, emotions, and behaviors - more so than genetics, brain circuitry, and environment. We are not our thoughts and emotions. And we always have control over our behaviors. So instead of focusing on the symptoms of alcohol, drugs, gaming, sex, eating/not eating, we can instead focus on changing our behaviors, which alter our neural pathways and neuroplasticity, by practicing new ways of being. Then through more repetition and practice we strengthen and create new habits to replace the unhealthy habits with negative consequences.

You can follow Dr. Seefeld at Twitter @Globaldoc77

If you want more help and support creating new habits, behaviors, and ways of being, please send me a message to schedule a 30-minute connection call.

Together, we uncover the behaviors which are blocking you from becoming your best self, discover the negative consequences those behaviors are having in your life, as well as lives of those around you, and discarding the old ways of being to create new and healthy behaviors.

As a certified transformational life coach, I specialize in behavior change. And I look forward to the opportunity to support, serve, and empower you.
