Ann and Larry are joined by Gulfstream Park’s Racing Analyst Brian Nadeau who talks about todays running of the $400,000 Coolmore Fountian of Youth Stakes as well as several other stakes races at Gulfstream Park later today. Brian also mentions why todays Fountain of Youth Stakes could produce a Kentucky Derby winner and talks about himself as a handicapper and what he looks for when handicapping a race. Woodbine Trainer Patrick Dixon, who discusses the career year that he had last year and what he believes accounted for the good results. He also talks about a couple of well known Trainers who helped him on the path to being a better Trainer and also talks about the upcoming 2024 Thoroughbred season and how many horses he expects to be training at Woodbine and mentions why he has not shipped into Woodbine as yet. Paul Court, the Creator of Stable Hub, an App that provides ‘Stable to Owner Communications at the very best’. Paul also talks about how he came up with the idea of Stable Hub and mentions some of the Trainers that are currently using it and being from New Zealand, discusses the major differences between New Zealand racing and North American. In our feature, ‘In Case You Missed It’ A Look At The Way It Was In Horse Racing News, Larry talks about some of the recent nominations of horses, Jockeys and Trainers to the National Museum of Racing’s 2024 Hall of Fame and when the finalists will be named and then when they will receive their awards. In our new feature, ‘Road Trip,’ Larry talks about todays Coolmore Fountain of Youth Stakes at Gulfstream Park and some of the history behind the naming of the race itself and who he believes the race ‘goes through’ today. He also provides his ‘Ponies Picks of the Day’ selections for several North American Racetracks today, later in the show.
