Welcome to episode 15. In this episode you'll know about what needs to be considered when changing your podcast's name and branding. Rosie share'es her experience and the things to look out for and do when you pivot your podcast.
Reasons Rosie pivoted:
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) reasons. To better find this podcast and services in a search.
- Instagram bio changes
- Colours and branding to suit.
Things to consdier taking action on:
1. Saying your new name out loud more often to your audience.
2. Changing your domain name.
3. Look at your other social media accounts to line upw ith your current name.
4. Changing your email templates to include your new name.
5. Pdf guides/resources to have your new name within and links to your new connections with your new name.
6. Your website, scouring through making changes to replace the old with your new name.
7. Including an ad within your previous episodes to let your audience know you've changed your name.
While this might take some time to roll out, it can be done gradually, as long as you let your audience know.
