The image of God in man is the conformity of the human soul, understanding, spirit, mind, will, and all internal and external bodily and spiritual powers with God and the Holy Trinity and with all divine qualities, virtues, wills, and characteristics. This is indicated in the decision of the Holy Trinity: Let us make man in our image after our likeness, and let him have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and the cattle, and all the earth (Gen. 1:26).
