This one might be tough for some coaches and parents to hear. The fact is we influence our athlete's mindsets way to often as parents and coaches. If you get emotional, they will get emotional. If you get angry, they will get angry and/or upset or embarrassed. If those are the way you handle things, your best course of action is to walk away.
