(Ron bringing his own whiskey and taking a shrimp plate, a lot of amazing guest stars, why Chris thinks it's okay to ask Ann if he can sleep with Jen again - gross)
First, we catch up a bit with Madi going over some motherhood moments, then dive deep with an exciting promo from back when this originally aired (almost to the exact date) - this aired on May 10, 2012 and we recorded May 11, 2024! 🤯🤯🤯
Then we talk to Randy Kovitz, who played Terrence the voting commissioner! Please follow him below! He told us INCREDIBLE stories about jumping on a plane with a fast turnaround time, how he learned his lines on the plane (classic) and how he has his wonderful wife to thank for convincing him plus his puppeteer friend who let him stay with him in LA. Amazing. He also teaches at Carnegie Mellon!
Then we get an email from Burly (PLEASE follow him and his show Grip and Electric below! It's SO GOOD) who shares some BTS details of the day on set! I also get a deleted scene where Burly is rocking his Knope 2012 campaign shirt (I'll post the photo on Insta) Thank you Burly, you always send the BEST emails and congrats on Ford v Ferrari!
Then we learn about the butterfly ballot and how it was inspired by a true story between the Bush/Gore election and how there really was a porn star elected to the Italian parliament, so Brandi Maxxxxx you can still win someday! (and you will 😉)
