2023 Softball Media Days, Day 4: Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, and the Fall Ball Special

The Out of the Box Boys are back for the final episode in the fourth year of Softball Media Days! Tom Canterbury and Gray Robertson return to talk with more SEC head coaches ahead of the 2024 season. Here’s the rundown!

First, Tom and Gray preview everything inside Day 4 of Softball Media Days (0:00-6:01).

Then, Alabama head coach Patrick Murphy leads off the final day and discusses the offseason changes, hiring Kayla Braud, elevating Adam Arbour, transfer additions, the pitching staff, outfield security, Kenleigh Cahalan’s sophomore year, Bailey Dowling playing third, a crowded infield elsewhere, rule changes, the changing landscape of softball, and much more (6:08-1:05:10).

Next, Auburn head coach Mickey Dean stops by to talk about the 2023 season, Maddie Penta, the message for returners on offense, Nelia Peralta, portal additions and other newcomers, hosting the SEC Tournament, the potential for Alabama-Auburn in Hoover, elk steak, and more (1:05:15-1:54:25).
