The women’s gold medal hockey game came down to the wire when Canada flipped the switch on the United States and forced overtime after trailing 2-0. The Canadians eventually went on to win with a goal on the power play in overtime. The same fate came for the USA in men’s hockey, when Finland slaughtered the United States in a bronze medal game of epic proportions, but not in a good way. The USA could not find the scoreboard past Boston Bruins netminder and Finnish Olympian, Tukka Rask.
