The Consumer Affairs Ministry has finally announced new guidelines regarding these. This is the Ministry's endeavor to protect consumers from unfair trade practices (unfair trade practices) under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Consumer Affairs Secretary Rohit Kumar Singh said on Friday that the government has come up with guidelines for social media influencers and celebrities. Misleading ads in every format and literature are banned under the new guidelines.
