About Jordan Ostroff: Jordan Ostroff is a successful lawyer, visionary entrepreneur, and host of multiple Facebook live shows. Born in South Florida, Jordan knew he wanted to be a lawyer from a young age and honed his skills by competing in trial competitions across the country while studying at the University of Central Florida and later at Barry University's School of Law. After working as a prosecutor for the State Attorney's Office, Jordan founded Jordan Law FL in 2015, a personal injury firm that focuses on using technology and automation to provide top-level legal work with care and compassion. He also started LegalEase Marketing, a fractional CMO for the legal space that helps other lawyers avoid the mistakes he made when starting his own firm. Additionally, he serves as a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida, a non-profit that pairs underserved children with professionals who mentor them and help them achieve success.

In this episode, Ryan and Jordan Ostroff discuss:

  • The importance of ideal client avatar and tracking ROI for positive marketing ROI for businesses
  • How can law firms avoid wasting marketing resources and instead focus on attracting the clients they want to work with
  • Strategies for business growth through target setting, client avatars, and CRM systems
  • Maximizing the value of your law firm with a custom marketing plan

Key Takeaways:

  • To succeed in marketing, it's crucial to know your ideal client and be specific, allocate 10-20% of revenue to marketing, and aim for a 5-10X ROI.
  • Analyze data to determine your ideal clients and profitable cases, create a solid marketing plan with a sales process, and track leads carefully to avoid costly errors in law firm marketing.
  • It's essential for law firms and small business owners to have a solid foundation in place, including a client avatar and a CRM system, to attract and retain ideal clients, which requires tracking leads from the initial interaction to the point of hiring and solving any issues that arise along the way.
  • Developing a tailored strategy, improving sales approach, monitoring leads, optimizing spending, and continuously improving can benefit law firms by enhancing client experience, boosting brand recognition, and generating more referrals.

"If you can let go of a view of perfection, you can liberate yourself to try and try again and make changes and try again, and learn from failure and learn from success." — Jordan Ostroff
