19- Unmedicated Mohican: Post Traumatic Growth, Micro-Dosing, and Mother Ay

On this episode, the MCS changes it up a bit. Toby Miller, or "Unmedicated Mohican" comes onto the show to talk about his time in CSOR, his journey with PTSD, and how he recently went down to Peru to use ayahuasca to help bring peace into his heart. Toby tells us about his 41st birthday, which was the day that he was involved in an IED strike that left him with TBI and is what set him down this path. Toby and Pat both talk about the things they've experienced when it comes to PTSD and what they have done to adapt and find a new way to live life. Toby also talks about his experience with Operation Pegasus Jump and what they're doing for CAF members and first responders. Toby then tells us about going down to Peru with "Becoming OM" to partake in ayahuasca ceremonies to help heal some of the wounds left behind. Toby and Pat then share their stories on post traumatic growth and how they now view the world and how deep the friendships and relationships they have with friends and family go now due to PTSD. They also share their experiences on micro-dosing psilocybin and the positive effects that it has had on their journey.
