The conversation gets much deeper than that, as we glean interesting information on the individual words that God uses throughout scripture. Erion tells us why a "word-level" translation is important, versus a "verse-level" translation. We also learn how a foreign language Bible translation can be faithful and accurate, yet still lack depth and precision. And, most importantly, why your philosophy on God's promise to preserve His words forever matters, first and foremost, before you ever start translating the scriptures.
