If following Jesus only meant that I was going to clean up my thought life and some of the words that came out of my mouth this whole thing would be a pretty shallow religion, at best.
However, we're not talking about a religion.
This is about relationship with God, each other, and as functioning citizens of His ever expanding Kingdom!
Jesus didn't call us into a "self-help" program.
He called us to become citizens of a dynamic, eternal Kingdom that involves functioning with Him as Co-Operators using His amazing power and authority throughout eternity... Starting now!
I have recently made a commitment to God to start "swinging for the fences".
I want to hit some grand slam home runs.
I will be a risk-taker.
I will walk in radical faith, hope, and love!
I've lived in the shallow end of life.
I might make some mistakes but I will make them in an attempt at being obedient to His high calling and His Word!
It's time to venture out into the the deeper levels of living according to His good pleasure!
Come on up, so his Glory can come on down!
