Mr. Miller is a life-long Mennonite who grew up in Pinecraft, the Amish/Mennonite enclave in Sarasota. He speaks to numerous groups and teaches classes about the Amish and Mennonites through the Adult Community Enrichment (ACE) program of Sarasota County Schools. Since retiring in 2014, he’s spent time researching the history of the Pinecraft community. He currently attends Covenant Mennonite Fellowship, an LGBTQ + congregation in Sarasota.
