In a brand new episode of Just One of the Guys, we continue our look at Kyle Rayner’s run in the title with issue 140, a little story called “Alpha-Male Bonding”. And given a title like that, the fact that we get a Boy Dance Party, two grown men tussling, and an incredibly hot girl who doesn’t actually exist would lead you to believe that the book might be going down a different path. But in actuality, it’s dealing with Kyle becoming more powerful with using the ring, something that looks like it is building up to a big change for Green Lantern.
Plus we’re also taking a look at the three part prestige format “Elseworlds” story, Green Lantern: Dragon Lord. In this issue we meet the heroic monk turned Green Lantern Jong Li, the mysterious and beautiful concubine Jade Moon, and the tyrannical and heartless Emperor Multiple Chin. At least that’s what I’m calling him as he really is a horribly despicable being. Plus, Kung-Fu! And no Dick Dragon to suffer through. So unless you want multiple boots to the head, I suggest you grab your mp3 player of choice, download the show, and get to listening!
