Does life ever feel like a long, uphill struggle?
Our worldly culture encourages us to reach for higher and higher positions of power, hoping that someday we’ll make it to the top of the mountain.
But God instructs us to do the opposite. He asks us to go lower.
In 1 Peter, the Bible says… “...humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, because he cares about you.”
Instead of pushing to make it to the top, you are invited to humbly submit yourself to God’s will. Under His authority, you can give Him all your worries and allow Him to care for you as only He can.
Will you surrender your desire to climb the ladder of worldly success, and trust that God will lift you to where He wants you? Put your trust in God—He is the one who cares for you.
