For Episode 20, I met up with a mutual friend Meilad and his sister Melahat (who are the new sponsors of this podcast!) When we sat down to do the podcast I also found out it happened to be the 33rd year anniversary of when their family was forced to flee from Iran. We talked in detail about that, how their dad was on the run from the Iranian Gov't, how they ended up as refugees and made their way to the United States, and how they are now L I V I N the American Dream.
By opening up a medical Marijuana dispensary! Yup We talkin' about weed yo! This was a fun episode and also a first for me, as I was stoned outta my mind while talking with them (sorry mom!) But it makes for another great listen!
