To all the female veterans out there, thank you for your service! The concept of "She's the Veteran" is in an effort to raise awareness of the almost 2 million women veterans currently serving or have served in the military.
She’s the Veteran works with female veterans to improve mental health through programmatic activities, provide a supportive community, and spearhead research efforts in support of their health and mental health.
We envision a country that acknowledges women veterans for their service, a nation with improved mental health services for women veterans, and funding for research that closes the gap for mental health issues within the female veteran community.
