History of Modern Greece

With the Arab Conquests over, the Roman Empire was able to step back and take a deep breath. For over half a century, they watched an empire come out of nowhere, conquering their cities and provinces and neighbors and relatives. The Roman Empire was once the most dominant superpower in the world... but that was no longer the case. There was a new Empire... a bigger Empire, and they had their own religion too. What went wrong? Why was God punishing the Roman Empire? What had they done wrong? Well... some people within the capital city thought they had a pretty good idea what was angering God, and they were going to do something about it.
The History of Modern Greece covers the events of the Greek People from the fall of Constantinople in 1453 to the Greek War of Independence in 1821-1832, all the way through to the Greco-Turkish War from 1919 to 1922.
