Having represented the Aussie Stingers Water Polo team at two Olympics, Keesja Gofers took time away to have her first child, daughter Teleri, in 2023. Just a few months later, Keesja set her sights on returning for a third Olympics in Paris.
She achieved her goal, and HER WAY caught up with Keesja at the Olympic team announcement to ask about how she did it. In this mini interview, Keesja is open and thoughtful as she shares the struggles, sacrifices and joys that this new journey has brought as she fought her way back to the pinnacle of sport.
