In 1967, while trying to push his existing World Water Speed record from 276 mph to over 300 mph, Donald Campbell CBE was killed in Bluebird K7 on Coniston Water in the Lake District.

Although the wreckage was found fairly quickly, it wasn't until 2001 that a team raised the wreckage of the powerboat and set about restoring her.

She's now on display in the Ruskin Museum, but the journey to get to this point has been far from plain sailing.

Tracy Hodgson, director of the Ruskin Museum tells K7 club member Shelley Jory-Leigh about the legendary craft, the Campbell family and the plans to run Bluebird K7 again at speed.
