GO FORWARD CONFERENCE|| DEC 2024| DAY 11 (part b) | EXPLORING HOW GOD NUDGES US TOWARD SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND ACTION | CHIMDI OHAHUNA
Welcome to yet another enlightening and empowering podcast, where we consider the profound operations of God and His movements on Earth. We've come to understand that there are five major moves of God, and we are currently in the fourth one, which will lead to the final move. This fourth move is characterized by the mission of reconciling men to Christ Jesus, a task entrusted to the Church and all Christians, empowered by the Lord.
As we navigate this move, we recognize that God will provide us with gentle nudges, and minor moves that propel us forward in our spiritual journey. These nudges, tailored to individuals within the body of Christ, come in various forms—calls to prayer, studying the Word, and stepping out of our comfort zones to fulfill God's calling. We must remain sensitive to these divine pushes and respond with obedience.
In our walk with the Lord, we encounter numerous challenges. The enemy often seeks to deceive us into believing he is behind every adverse situation. However, Jesus taught that some trials occur for the manifestation of God's glory. It is all for God's glory even if we face generational issues, personal struggles, or spiritual battles.
As believers, we must enforce our victory in Christ and take our rightful place in God's family. This means actively participating in our spiritual journey, overcoming bloodline issues, and asserting our identity in Christ. The devil, ever the opportunist, will never assume our position in Christ; he will test us to ensure we know and claim our inheritance.
The Bible teaches that after the devil tempted Jesus, he left Him for a while but never ceases to return. We must stand firm in our liberty in Christ, continually enforcing our rights and resisting the devil's attempts to derail us. God's gentle nudges serve as reminders to remain active in our faith and avoid complacency.
We explore biblical principles, such as the call to rise up and possess our inheritance, learning from the children of Israel's journey. We must avoid relying on worldly principles or manipulation to achieve God's promises. Trust in God, even when it seems difficult, and allow Him to fulfill His Word in His time.
Faith requires action, as James reminds us. We must continue working and trusting in God, even when we don't see immediate results. Patience is not passive waiting but active perseverance in our duties. We are called to serve, give, and remain steadfast in our faith, knowing that God is faithful to His promises.
Join us on this transformative journey as we explore God's moves, the responsibilities of believers, and the call to rise up and fulfill our divine mission.
Grace to you!
Jesus is Lord.
