She was the first African-American woman and Native American to hold a pilot license. and is the earliest known Black person to earn an international pilot's license. As a military veteran she has served at the White House Medical Unit, the Pentagon and Walter Reed Army Medical Center. LaTaye is a seasoned leader within the federal and state government as well as big box retail companies. Her professional and personal experiences coupled with her out of the box approach allows her to be able to work with women and men from various demographics and cultures.
