Andrew is the journalist that covers all the big local issues in San Diego such as housing, homelessness and transportation but this KPBS Metro Reporter cut his teeth reporting in Germany, and he talked with us about his family’s connection to this north central European country. We also talked with Andrew about his reporting on “Golden Pedophiles,” why he would never want to be a politician, his new “Freeway Exit'' serial podcast; along with his ability to speak multiple languages and the importance of LGBTQIA+ representation in newsrooms.
