He highlights the value of incorporating real game-like situations, such as facing live batters, into training sessions. We discuss how coaches can use biomechanics to guide an athletes search process to find more functional movement solutions. The conversation also explores the balance between exploration and consistency in training, as well as the role of constraints in pitching practice.
