When is the right time to start talking to your kids about addiction, sex, alcohol, and other things that might lead them down a sad path? When they are teenagers? When they are 10 or 12? “Never, because my kids won’t listen to me.”

Taylor and Joseph interview an addiction prevention specialist and learn some enlightening things. Facts that show parental involvement is a key part of help kids stay out of trouble of all kinds. Prevention is, in large part, simple. But unfortunately, not always easy.

This podcast shows us that it’s never too early or late to start – and that parents have much more of an influence than they think. And, that influence is in play even when parents don’t think anything they can say will possibly make any difference.
