This is the second in a quarterly series of IIFX Town Halls featuring women in sports and entertainment. This live Town Hall event was featured at the 2023 ALSD Conference & Tradeshow in Conjunction with IIFX from 9-11 July 2023 in Indianapolis, IN (USA).
IIFX continues to highlight women leaders who are at the forefront of change in the sports and entertainment and preparing the way for the next generation of women. Our panelists come from academia, industry, and the sports & entertainment industry.
Our distinguished panel talked about their experiences, the pressing security and operational challenges that women leaders are addressing today, and the future view of sports and entertainment, including the importance of diversity and inclusion with an emphasis on helping the next generation of young women become future industry leaders.
Moderator: Patty Keller, EdD, Boston College. Dr. Patty Raube Keller has a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Sports Medicine from Greensboro College, a master’s degree in Education with a concentration in counseling and administration from Campbell University and a doctorate in Education Leadership from Rowan University.

Kasia Hanson, Global Sales Leader - Physical Security | Cybersecurity | Sports, Intel Corp & Chair of the Security Industry Association Women in Security Forum. Kasia is an award-winning security leader at Intel, leading Global Security Ecosystem Development and Partnerships. Kasia is the past Chair of the Security Industry Association Women in Security Forum, the 2022 SIA Progress Award Recipient, a Women in Security Power 100 honoree, and an ISJ Top Security Influencer.
Katheen Griggs, President, Databuoy Corporation. Kathleen grew the company to an $18.5M Defense contract to develop and field Embedded Systems Command and Control Technology. She is a former Navy Engineer and DARPA Technical Agent, where she managed DARPA Warfighter Visualization, Smart Modules, and Distributed Robotics program efforts. Her program successes include video geo-registration,
augmented reality, and wearable computing.
Gayle Keller, Chief Reinvention Officer, Gayle Keller, LLC. Gayle Keller is a former Microsoft sales executive who after 20+ years in tech felt impassioned to help close the gender gap in the S.T.E.A.M. fields after experiencing firsthand the gender biases that still exist in the workplace.
Katie Keenan, Senior Director, Live Event Operations, National Football League. Katie is a global live event and venue operations executive with 18 years of experience in the sports industry. As Senior Director, Live Events & Operations at the NFL, she leads a team responsible for the planning and delivery of the NFL’s marquee events including Super Bowl and NFL Draft.
